I have always believed that the secret or fuel to my creativity is my ability to think. I never stop thinking, wondering and learning, and if I ever did, I guess I would be dead. I am a 24/7 thinker, always asking questions of why, how, and what if. It is sometimes a burden to think like I do, but well worth the magic I can create with a well thought out idea.
I am a graphic designer specializing in web design, but not limited to. I can design my way out of a box and I can even design a box, but I prefer to stay outside of the box, it’s quite nice out here. I can also hand code XHTML/CSS, wrestle with Javascript and coax browsers into behaving properly and uniformly.
I also write graphic/web design related articles for some popular blogs across the net. It keeps me on the forefront of emerging trends and new technology. A few of my articles are listed below:
Breaking The Design Cycle: Getting Creative To Be Creative - published at www.webdesignerdepot.com
20 Time-Saving Tips to Improve Designer's Workflow - published at www.smashingmagazine.com
Outside design and the web, I enjoy being outdoors, partly to keep my sanity, but mostly because of the freedom the outdoors gives me. The natural world is my single most important source of inspiration, it is a breath of fresh air. Though, when I'm not at my computer or outdoors, I do enjoy sports quite a bit. In another life of mine (yes I'm young, but it seems like a long time ago), I was an avid long-distance runner, though now I just settle for the gym, a swim and an occasional bike ride.
